The California ISO released Master File version 34.0 to production today, which includes updates to the User Interface (UI) and Application Programming Interface (API) with new templates and new validation rules. Updates for Use Limit Plan Data (ULPD v2), and the Generator Resource Data Template (GRDTv12.0) are as follows:

These are the same new features that participants reviewed during the March Commitment Cost Enhancements Phase 3 implementation market simulation.
The ISO posted an updated version of the Master File User Guide to its website at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/MasterFileUserGuide_Mar2018.pdf. This updated version includes a complete list of all Use Limited Plan (ULP) and Resource Data Template (RDT) validation rules, and updated RDT submission instructions. Please refer to Appendix B of the User Guide for more information.
