The California ISO has implemented and activated the Commitment Costs Enhancements Phase 3 project, effective April 1, 2019.
This initiative is a continuation of the Commitment Cost Enhancements Phase 2 initiative and entails developing a methodology for calculating use-limited resource opportunity costs and creating opportunity cost adders for bidding into the ISO market using the proxy cost option.
This project addresses:
- Use-limited registration process
- Evaluating submitted limitations/Opportunity Cost Calculation
- Use-limited definition
- Nature of Work attribute for Outage Cards
- Master File resource characteristics
