The California ISO has scheduled a stakeholder meeting on Feb. 10, 2020 to discuss the straw proposal for the Day-Ahead Market Enhancements (DAME) initiative, which will be available Feb. 3 on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/StakeholderProcesses/Day-ahead-market-enhancements.
The objective of the DAME meeting is to discuss the proposed day-ahead market design and solicit stakeholder feedback on design elements. The purpose of the day-ahead market enhancements is to co-optimize and value energy and capacity in an efficient market solution.
The ISO has also scheduled a two-day workshop on Feb. 11 and 12 for the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) initiative. The purpose of scheduling the EDAM workshop following the DAME meeting was to help facilitate travel and planning for stakeholders who are engaged in both initiatives.
