The California ISO has scheduled a stakeholder call on Aug. 23, 2021, to discuss the straw proposal for the EIM Resource Sufficiency Evaluation Enhancements initiative. The proposal and presentation, will be available prior to the meeting on the initiative webpage.
The objective of this initiative is to review the balancing, capacity, and flexible ramping tests to determine if any enhancements are needed to ensure the test components achieve their stated objective. In addition, this initiative will clarify what constitutes leaning, as well as determine appropriate consequences for a failure of the resource sufficiency evaluation.
The call will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
Please submit written comments on the straw proposal and meeting discussion by end of day Sept. 8, 2021, through the ISO’s commenting tool using the link on the initiative webpage.
