As part of the kickoff discussion for the third phase of the Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resource (ESDER) initiative, the ISO is facilitating an onsite, stakeholder-led workshop on November 6, 2017. At this workshop, stakeholders are asked to present their views and analyses on the three main topics proposed in the ESDER Phase 3 Issue Paper (demand response, multiple-use applications, the non-generator resource model), as well as any additional topics for consideration.  The ISO plans on using this input to scope and prioritize the straw proposal.

After the event, please submit comments on the workshop materials and discussion to initiativecomments@caiso.com by close of business November 20.
