Continuing the conversation from the Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resource (ESDER) Phase 3 November 6, 2017 workshop, the ISO will hold a stakeholder-led workshop on December 11 to finalize the ESDER Phase 3 scope items. The previous workshop analyzed the three main topics proposed within the ESDER Phase 3 Issue Paper; demand response, multiple-use applications, and the non-generator resource model.

The ISO plans to use the November workshop stakeholder input, corresponding comments, and the feedback received from this workshop to prioritize proposal topics for the upcoming ESDER Phase 3 Straw Proposal.
