The California ISO has posted a revised draft final proposal for the Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources Phase 3 initiative.  The revision clarifies that Reliability Demand Response Resources (RDRRs) are not eligible for the proposed hourly and 15-minute real-time bidding options, given RDDRs are real-time emergency response resources.

The California ISO has posted an updated redlined version of the draft final proposal for the Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources Phase 3 initiative.

This update clarifies that Reliability Demand Response Resources (RDRRs), due to their real-time emergency response nature, are not eligible for the hourly and 15-minute real-time bidding options.  As such, the hourly and 15-minute bidding options proposal will apply only to proxy demand resources.
