The California ISO will hold a stakeholder meeting on Dec. 16, 2021, to discuss the logistics and schedule for a series of working group meetings for the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) initiative that will commence the week of Jan. 3, 2022.
The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the logistics and structure for managing and facilitating the working group meetings, as well as introduce an initial list of scope items for each working group to evaluate. The bi-weekly (twice per week) series of each working group will begin the week of Jan. 3, 2022, with a recurring schedule provided further in this notice. All related meeting materials will be available on the EDAM initiative webpage prior to the meeting.
As part of the open and inclusive stakeholder process, the ISO has defined specific working groups for the EDAM initiative that will focus on different market design elements of the initiative to ensure stakeholder engagement in the development of the straw proposal. The three stakeholder working groups were identified and described in the November 12 EDAM foundational workshop. Materials related to that workshop are available on the initiative webpage at link above. Stakeholders interested in participating in the stakeholder working groups are requested to register for the individual working groups to help gage interest and facilitate communication with participants throughout the working group discussions.
This meeting and each of the working group meetings, will be recorded and the video files posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time following each meeting. The recordings are for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
