Generator Downsizing Request Submittal Window for Generator Interconnection Projects: Open 10/15/20 to 11/15/20
The California ISO will begin to accept downsizing requests on Oct. 15, 2020, for active interconnection requests and commercial generating facilities seeking to downsize under the annual generator downsizing process. All downsizing requests and deposits must be submitted to the ISO by5 p.m. (Pacific Time), Nov. 15, 2020.
The generator downsizing process extends to interconnection customers who meet the requirements set forth in the ISO Tariff Appendix DD, Section 7.5.
Interconnection customers making a downsizing request must submit all of the following by the due date:
A Generator Downsizing Deposit of $60,000 in the form of a cashier's or bank check or Fed wire transfer (per the instructions in the Generator Downsizing Request form).
