The California ISO will hold an informational public stakeholder call on March 22, 2021, to discuss the Aggregated Capability Constraint (ACC). The ACC, developed during phase 1 of the Hybrid Resources initiative, is the ISO’s market functionality that manages the interconnection limit when a hybrid resource, such as solar paired with storage, is interconnected with aggregate capacity values greater than the interconnection limit.
Additional details regarding the ACC and the clarifications and examples are included in an accompanying document as well as a presentation available prior to the call, at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/MeetingsEvents/MiscellaneousStakeholderMeetings/Default.aspx.
In an effort to efficiently address questions during the meeting, stakeholders are encouraged to review the documentation and submit questions beforehand. Questions submitted in advance will be addressed first, followed by questions stakeholders may have during the meeting. Time limits, however, may be used to ensure all stakeholders are heard and all material has been covered. Please email questions to ISOStakeholderAffairs@caiso.com by 12 p.m. Pacific Time on March 16, 2021.
The call will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time. The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO’s permission.
