The California ISO is pleased to announce registration is now open for all participants interested in attending its Markets and Settlements Training Workshop, which offers the following courses:
- Introduction to ISO Markets: Aug. 18
- Market Transactions: Aug. 19
- ISO Settlements: Aug. 20
This workshop is usually held in person at the ISO campus, but has been converted into an online session in order to comply with the temporary in-person meeting restrictions due to COVID-19. This online workshop provides participants with the opportunity to attend this training session virtually, which has not previously been offered by the ISO and may be especially beneficial for those individuals who have not been able to attend an in-person course due to travel constraints.
The Markets and Settlements Training Workshop is designed for individuals who have completed the required prerequisite online learning modules. Registration information, including details about prerequisites, is available at https://caiso.regfox.com/iso-training-workshop-2020.
Payments must be received prior to the start of each class. Please register by close of business Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020.
Participants have the option to enroll in one or more day(s) that interest them. There is a 20 percent discount for those individuals who enroll in all three days of the workshop.
Introduction to ISO Markets
This course provides lecture and exercises that explore the day-ahead and real-time market processes from the perspective of the market operator.
