The California ISO has determined the rate per megawatt-hour (MWh) for its Reliability Coordinator (RC) Customers taking services from RC West effective Nov. 1, 2019 through Dec. 31, 2019. The rate was calculated based on the 2019 RC funding requirement (for November 2019 through December 2019) divided by the prorated 2017 MWh as provided by the RC customers in their services agreements with RC West.

RC charges, to customers outside of the ISO balancing authority area, will be invoiced under charge code 5701 – RC Services Charge. For customers within the ISO balancing authority area, RC charges will be invoiced under charge code 5705 – RC Services Charge Allocation.
The RC charge for the Nov. 1, 2019 through Dec. 31, 2019 period will be included on the Jan. 2, 2020 RC invoice published in the Market Results Interface - Settlements (MRI-S) application. The invoice will also include the RC charges for the periods July 1, 2019 through Oct. 31, 2019 and Jan. 1, 2020 through Dec. 31, 2020.
