The California ISO has identified several settlements related issues as a result of the Intertie Deviation Settlement implementation, and is working to resolve all known issues.
The Intertie Deviation Settlement Project was scheduled for production deployment on Feb. 1, 2021. There was a partial delay with the deployment and activation, which was completed on February 8. Since the activation on February 8, there have been several defects identified that impact the settlement result for certain wheeling resources, import and export resources and tag curtailments.
The ISO will provide details on the activation delay and known defects during the Settlements User group meeting on March 17, 2021. Please join us in the meeting, as we will provide additional details and the latest status of resolution at that time and publish further details as soon as possible.
At this time, customers are advised to submit a settlement dispute in the Customer Inquiry, Dispute and Information (CIDI) system with the details of their transaction to help the ISO remedy the situation. Once resolved, the ISO will pursue a global resolution to the settlements issues.
