Effective Sept. 30, 2021 through Oct. 15, 2021, pending approval of the Quality Review Board (QRB), the California ISO will hold a market simulation for the Fall, 2021 release which includes the Intertie Shadow Pricing Resolution. Unstructured testing will be available for market participants who would like to review the new “Limit Type” column that will be available in the following Open Access Same-Time Information System (OASIS) reports:
- intertie constraint shadow prices
- interval intertie constraint shadow prices
- contingency dispatch intertie constraint shadow prices
- Market Power Mitigation intertie constraint shadow prices
The Limit Type will display either Energy/Ancillary Service (EA) or Ancillary Services (AS) constraint.
Additionally, there will be new settlements billing determinants to reflect the congestion associated with each type of Ancillary Service commodity. Please refer to draft configuration guides for more details.
This project is currently scheduled to be in production on Nov. 1, 2021.
