The California ISO is hosting stakeholder workshops on Jan. 12 and 13, 2021, as part of its Market Enhancements for Summer 2021 Readiness initiative. The objective of these workshops is to discuss export and load scheduling priorities and the current Western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) Resource Sufficiency Evaluation as they relate to this initiative.
During the January 12 workshop, the ISO will discuss its balancing authority area’s (BAA’s) current priorities for load and export schedules. Stakeholders are invited to present at this workshop summaries of their BAA’s load and export schedule priorities and their perspectives on appropriate load and export treatment.
During the January 13 workshop, the ISO will review the current design of the Western EIM’s resource sufficiency evaluation. Stakeholders are invited to present at this workshop their perspective on the current resource sufficiency evaluation design.
