The California ISO reminds stakeholders that modifications to generator interconnection requests using the material modification assessment (MMA) process to add energy storage and transfer deliverability from solar to storage must be submitted by Dec. 2, 2019, to be evaluated under the current deliverability methodology assumptions. In addition, MMAs for projects seeking to modify their commercial operation date (COD) and have the modified COD considered in the ISO Board approved one-time deliverability allocation process must be submitted by Dec. 2,
2019.
The technical data required for adding energy storage as part of the Dec, 2, 2019, MMA submittal includes a completed Interconnection Request, completed Attachment A to the Interconnection Request, and a load flow model in epc format which includes short circuit data. This portion of the data set must be deemed complete and valid by Jan. 15, 2020. The remainder of the technical data set is due on Feb. 3, 2020, and includes the dynamic data file in dyd format, single line diagram, site map, and inverter specification sheet. This portion of the data set must be deemed complete and valid by March 15, 2020.
For deliverability transfer requests, please use the Deliverability Transfer Request Form that has been made available at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/DeliverabilityTransferRequestForm.docx.
