The California ISO’s notice on Aug. 20, 2021, stated that the deadline for paying invoices with the North American Electric Reliability Corporation/Western Electricity Coordinating Council (NERC/WECC) fees will be Sept. 19, 2021. Market participants should be aware that because September 19, falls on a Sunday, it will be difficult to send payment to the ISO on that date. Moreover, payments received on
September 20, or later will be considered late under the Tariff section 11.20.5. Therefore, the ISO recommends that market participants plan to submit payments no later than Friday, September 17, which is the final business day before the payment deadline.
