The California ISO posted on its website the modeling results that reflect its production cost modeling for the integrated resource planning process preferred system plan. The ISO’s production cost modeling includes both stochastic and deterministic modeling. The model of the Integrated Resource Planning 38 million metric ton (MMT) Core Portfolio is in progress and will be posted upon completion. This modeling data was referenced in the ISO’s Opening Comments, submitted on Sept. 27, 2021, in the California Public Utility Commission (CPUC) Docket No. R.20-05-003, Order Instituting Rulemaking to Continue Electric Integrated Resource Planning and Related Procurement Processes.
