The California ISO will hold a public stakeholder call on Nov. 4, 2021, to discuss the issue paper/straw proposal for the Reliability Demand Response Resource (RDRR) Bidding Enhancements initiative. This initiative explores bidding options in three areas: 1) Aligning RDRR real-time bidding with FERC Order No. 831; 2) Exploring RDRR Minimum Load and Minimum Load Costs; and 3) Understanding if modifying the cap of RDRR discrete dispatch options would better reflect RDRR capabilities.
The paper, along with a presentation, will be available prior to the call on the initiative webpage.
