After a study completed by financial planning at the California ISO, it was determined that application fees associated with onboarding and registration processes for new Scheduling Coordinators (SC) and Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) holders needed to be increased. Additionally, the Scheduling Coordinator Identification (SCID) monthly fee, which is part of the Grid Management Charge (GMC) calculation, will be increased.

Effective Jan. 1, 2021 fees will be increased as follows:

Application fees for new SCs and CRR holders:

• SC fees increasing from $5,000 to $7,500.
• CRR Holder Registration fees increasing from $1,000 to $5,000.
• The application fee increases will only apply to new SCs or CRR holders submitting applications on or after Jan. 1, 2021 and will not affect applications already in progress.

SCID monthly fee (charge code 4575):

• Fee increasing from $1,000 to $1,500.
• Fee increases will apply to all SCIDs that accrue any settlement charges/credits during a trade month beginning January 2021.
