The California ISO will hold a public stakeholder call on Oct. 21, 2020 to discuss requirements, timelines, and processes for participating generators to submit Electromagnetic Transient models and supporting documentation, as outlined in Section 10 of the Business Practice Manual (BPM) for Transmission Planning Process. The California ISO recently updated these requirements in 2020 expanding their applicability to all asynchronous generators. The stakeholder call for participating generators will focus on the following:

A web conference will be available for stakeholder convenience. In addition, the call will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time.
