On April 30, 2021, the California ISO previously published settlements statements and invoices that reflected interest through April 30, 2021 for Amendment 60. As noted on a call held on July 21, 2021 (link to July 21 presentation) additional settlement adjustments are required for:
- Correcting errors in the interest calculations for March 2005 for startup costs and October 2007 for minimum load costs
- Unwind incorrect distribution of California Oregon Transmission Project Agreement funds
- Reallocation of payments and charges for use of California-Oregon Transmission Project (COTP) Transmission (July – December 2004)
- Distribution of funds from a separate Good Faith Negotiation (GFN) (reflected on the daily historical initial statement for trade date, March 2, 2009)
As discussed on the July 21, 2001 call, the ISO will calculate incremental interest on the April 30, 2021 and Aug. 31, 2021 invoices.
The dates have been changed from Aug. 31, 2021 to Sept. 17, 2021. The ISO will publish daily historical settlements statements for trade date March 1, 2009, daily historical initial statement for trade date, March 2, 2009 and invoices. The date change is due to the configuration of the historical charge codes and additional time is needed to calculate the pass-thru-data. Payments for the invoices are due no later than 10 a.m. Pacific Time on Sept. 23, 2021. The ISO will transmit market payments as soon thereafter as feasible.
