The Western Energy Imbalance Market (WEIM) Nominating Committee is seeking candidates to fill one seat on the WEIM Governing Body. The Governing Body is a five member body that works closely with the California ISO Board of Governors and exercises joint authority over rules of the WEIM. Candidates for the Governing Body are selected by a Nominating Committee comprised of WEIM stakeholder representatives.
The Nominating Committee has developed a job description and will work with the executive search firm to nominate a slate for the Governing Body seat(s) for which the term is scheduled to expire in 2022. Governing Body Member Val Fong has elected not to seek reappointment.
Qualified candidates are encouraged to work with their Nominating Committee sector representative (see below) and must meet independence requirements that follow FERC’s requirements related to RTOs and ISOs. For additional information and instructions on how to apply, please see the job description.
As of March 23, the requirement has changed for any new applicants. Qualified candidates should now submit applications to Shelly Fust at shelly.fust@kornferry.com and cc Peter Bogin (peter.bogin@kornferry.com) and Julia Waldman (julia.waldman@kornferry.com). Applications are due no later than 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on March 31, 2022.
