The EIM Governing Body is a five-member body that works closely with the ISO Board of Governors and exercises delegated authority over rules of the Western EIM. Candidates for the EIM Governing Body are selected by a nominating committee comprised of representatives of EIM stakeholders.
The nominating committee consists of five voting members and three non-voting advisory members, with one representative each from the following sectors: EIM entities; Participating Transmission Owners; suppliers and marketers of generation; publicly-owned utilities; the Body of State Regulators; the EIM Governing Body; the ISO Board of Governors; and public interest and consumer advocate groups.
Each sector, through publicly noticed conference calls, selected their representatives to comprise the Nominating Committee. They met as a group via teleconference for the first time on April 26, 2019. The members of the Nominating Committee include:

The committee will immediately begin work on identifying a candidate to bring to the EIM Governing Body for approval in a general session meeting. The following steps are being taken for the nomination process:
- Stakeholders are encouraged to provide the name and resume of qualified candidates to the executive search firm (details and contact information provided below).
- The executive search firm of Lyceum Leadership Consulting will develop a list of qualified candidates for the EIM Governing Body.
- The list of vetted qualified candidates will be forwarded to the Nominating Committee, who will review and narrow down to a “short list” of at least two candidates for the vacant seat.
- Following candidate interviews, the Nominating Committee will nominate one nominee by consensus of the voting members; and
- The name of the nominee will be posted to the western EIM website and the EIM Governing Body will make a decision on that nominee at an open public meeting.
Stakeholders who wish to submit names to the search firm should keep the following criteria in mind:
Email submissions to Lyceum Leadership Consulting c/o Carly Olson at carly.olson@leadershiplyceum.com by end of day May 31, 2019. You will receive an acknowledgement of receipt shortly after you submit.
