The ISO is hosting a conference call on Feb. 21, 2018 for the Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources (ESDER) Phase 3 initiative to discuss the straw proposal, which will be available on the initiative webpage at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/StakeholderProcesses/EnergyStorage_DistributedEnergyResources.aspx by close of business February 15.
In the straw proposal, the ISO has refined the scope of topic areas being addressed and has clarified its proposed direction on these areas, after incorporating stakeholder input from the prior two working groups that reviewed the issue paper topics (demand response, multiple-use applications, and the non-generator resource model).
A presentation and agenda will be available prior to the call, also on the initiative webpage provided above. Please submit comments on the straw proposal to initiativecomments@caiso.com by close of business March 7.
