Publication of Unscheduled Directed Recalculation Settlement Statements

MESSAGE

The California ISO published unscheduled directed recalculation settlement statements under run type Monthly Rerun Market on June 24, 2019, for the trading months of June and July 2017. The statements reflect the outcome of a dispute resolution under Section 13 of the ISO tariff for re-settlement of capacity procurement mechanism (CPM). Billing for these statements will be reflected on the weekly invoice issued on June 26, 2019.

A calendar reflecting the publication date, review period, invoicing, and interest assessment is available on the ISO website at http://www.caiso.com/market/Pages/Settlements/Default.aspx under the Retroactive settlements > Recalculation settlements > Unscheduled directed subheading.

A pro-rata CPM allocation was assessed based upon the actual load quantity of each load serving entity represented by the scheduling coordinator using charge code (CC) 8999 (Neutrality Adjustment). The pass through bill for CC 8999 published within the business associate bill determinant file includes supporting information needed for validation purposes. Associated interest will be reflected on the daily initial statement for June 30, 2019 under CC 7989 and 7999.

Disputes may be submitted in accordance with section 11.29.8.4.8 of the ISO Tariff. Adjustments for any valid disputes related to incremental data changes will be reflected on a subsequent recalculation settlement statement.
