SUMMARY
The California ISO has scheduled a public stakeholder call for May 28, 2019 to discuss transmission capability estimates and inputs to the 2019-2020 California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) Integrated Resource Plan modeling activities. Please submit written comments by June 4.
MESSAGE
The ISO annually updates its transmission capability estimates that it provides to the CPUC for the development of renewable resource portfolios in its Integrated Resource Plan (IRP). A white paper describing the input assumptions and development of the ISO’s transmission capability estimates for input to the CPUC’s 2019-2020 IRP modeling activities is available on the transmission planning webpage at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/WhitePaper-TransmissionCapabilityEstimates-InputtoCPUCIntegratedResourcePlanPortfolioDevelopment.pdf. A public stakeholder call has been scheduled for May 28 to review the document with stakeholders.
