SUMMARY

The California ISO 2019 Q1 Full Network Model implementation is scheduled for effective trade date Feb. 21, 2019. Processing of requests for Master File data changes, except the changes related to registered cost updates, will be frozen for effective trade dates February 14-21 as a part of the implementation of this new model. The submission of Use-Limited Plan Data Template (ULPDT) will not be impacted by the data freeze.

MESSAGE

The ISO Full Network Model version 2019 Q1 implementation is scheduled for effective date Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019.

The 2019 Q1 model version incorporates the addition or modification of new transmission, generation, and telemetry projects. The promotion process places limitations on the ability to process Master File data changes; therefore, the ISO will honor a data freeze as outlined below. Please note Master File data changes for registered cost updates will not be subject to this data freeze; however, these changes may not be effective from February 19 to 21, 2019. The submission of Use-Limited Plan Data Template (ULPDT) will not be impacted by the data freeze.

Deadline to submit changes that cannot be submitted through the Master File user interface (UI) or application programming interface (API) to RDT@caiso.com to receive an effective date of February 13 or sooner. Effective dates of February 22 and later may also be requested.

Feb. 6, 2019

Last day to submit changes through the Master File UI or API, same effective dates apply as above. Changes for registered cost updates are not subject to this deadline; however, these changes may not be effective from February 19 to 21.

Feb. 7 2019 -

Feb. 19, 2019

UI/API submission black-out period; the ISO will decline submissions made on these dates, except the changes for registered cost updates, as this activity may interfere with the promotion process.

Feb. 13, 2019

Last day changes can be made effective before the model promotion, for change requests received by dates listed above.

Feb. 14, 2019 -

Feb. 21, 2019

Effective date black-out period; no changes can be made, except the changes for registered cost updates, which can be made effective for February 15.

Feb. 20, 2019

Master File UI and API submissions may resume for effective dates on or after February 27.

Feb. 27, 2019

Non-UI/API change requests submitted to RDT@caiso.com after the Feb. 5, 2019 deadline may request an effective date on or after Feb. 27, 2019, subject to the 5 to 11 business day Master File change timeline.
