The California ISO will hold a two-day public stakeholder meeting on March 2-3, 2020, for a discussion on variable-output demand response, as part of the Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources Phase 4 initiative. The working group will provide an opportunity for a targeted discussion on preliminary analysis for the qualifying capacity valuation of variable-output demand response using and Effective Load Carrying Capability (ELCC) study.
Following the working group discussion, the ISO will discuss the second revised straw proposal, which includes updates to the topics discussed in the revised straw proposal and associated stakeholder comments.
