The ISO will hold a public working group call on Aug 21, 2019, to discuss the Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources (ESDER) Phase 4 initiative. This session will provide an additional opportunity for stakeholders to continue to address topics introduced within the ESDER Phase 4 straw proposal, as well as from previous ESDER4 meetings.
Agenda:
- Discussion on stakeholder comments on non-24x7 market participation for non-Resource Adequacy behind-the-meter resources
- Default Energy Bid calculation of energy storage resources
- Discussion on “spread bidding” and current functionalities
- Variable Output Demand Response operational process
A presentation, along with the paper, will be available prior to the meeting on the initiative web page at http://www.caiso.com/informed/Pages/StakeholderProcesses/EnergyStorage_DistributedEnergyResources.aspx.
A web conference will be available for stakeholder convenience. In addition, the meeting will be recorded and the video file posted on the initiative webpage for a limited time.
