The California ISO is hosting a training session on Nov.30, 2021, to provide stakeholders with an overview of the current day-ahead market process and foundational knowledge so they can fully participate in the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) initiative stakeholder process.
The topics in this overview will include (but are not limited to):
- Day-Ahead Market Process and Products
- Convergence Bidding
- Congestion Revenue Rights
- Settlements
The session will be focused on the different components of the Day-Ahead Market as it exists today, in advance of future engagement and evaluation of market design for the EDAM.
