The California ISO Department of Market Monitoring (DMM) has posted the Western Energy Imbalance Market (EIM) Resource Sufficiency Evaluation Issues and Performance Report covering October 2021. DMM is providing additional transparency surrounding test accuracy and performance in regular reports specific to this topic as part of the EIM resource sufficiency evaluation stakeholder initiative. This report includes an
extended section on the uncertainty requirement used in the tests.
A stakeholder web conference is scheduled on November 16, 2021 to discuss the analysis and findings of the October report.
Last week, DMM posted data underlying its monthly reports on Western Energy Imbalance Market Resource Sufficiency Evaluation Issues and Performance covering July, August, and September 2021. Data underlying the October report will be posted shortly. DMM is making this data available in response to stakeholder requests to provide additional transparency surrounding test accuracy and performance as part of the EIM resource sufficiency evaluation stakeholder initiative.
After reviewing comments submitted in the ISO’s EIM Resource Sufficiency Evaluation stakeholder initiative, the ISO approved release of this data. The ISO does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of this data. The data cannot be republished without the prior written consent of the ISO.
