Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources Phase 2 Implementation Customer Partnership Group Call 12/13/17
The California ISO has scheduled a customer partnership group call on December 13, 2017 to discuss implementation of demand response current changes associated with phase 2 of the Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources initiative. Please submit questions and comments to be discussed during the call by December 6.
The ISO has scheduled its first Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources (ESDER) Phase 2 Implementation customer partnership group call on December 13, 2017 to explore the current changes related to the implementation of this initiative.
ESDER Phase 2 implementation, scheduled for May 1, 2018, will impact the technology associated with demand response (DR) settlements for scheduling coordinators and DR providers, within such areas as baseline approvals, baseline and performance calculations, performance submittals to the ISO, as well as stakeholder internal processes. Therefore, the ISO is seeking stakeholder questions and comments regarding implementation for discussion on the call. Please provide submissions to email@example.com no later than close of business December 6.
Customer partnership group calls are interactive web conference forums designed to provide valuable input clarifying the ISO's final business requirements, which lead to internal development of internal specifications. They were created in response to customer requests to become more involved in the planning, design and usability validation phases of ISO application development, and to provide an open, interactive partnership forum to identify potential opportunities to improve the overall customer experience.
All ideas are welcome and will be considered based upon feasibility, prioritization and timeline constraints. These meetings will vary in frequency to allow time to review progress, provide feedback on design and usability, and to effectively discuss implementation approaches. Active participation makes these calls a success and improves customer interaction with ISO applications.
