As part of a monthly recurring series, the ISO has scheduled an Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources (ESDER) Phase 2 Implementation customer partnership group call on Feb. 27, 2018 to explore the current changes related to the implementation of this initiative.
ESDER Phase 2 implementation, scheduled for Oct. 1, 2018, will impact the technology associated with DR settlements for scheduling coordinators and DR providers, within such areas as baseline approvals, baseline and performance calculations, performance submittals to the ISO, and stakeholder internal processes. Therefore, the ISO is continuing to seek stakeholder questions and comments regarding implementation for discussion on these calls. Please provide submissions to initiativecomments@caiso.com no later than close of business February 20.
