As part of a monthly recurring series, the ISO has scheduled an Energy Storage and Distributed Energy Resources (ESDER) Phase 2 Implementation customer partnership group call on August 14 to explore current changes related to this initiative's implementation. Please submit comments to be considered during the call by August 7. With the market simulation beginning in September as part of this initiative's implementation, this will be the final ESDER Phase 2 customer partnership group session.
ESDER Phase 2 implementation, scheduled for November 1, 2018, will impact the technology associated with Demand Response (DR) settlements for scheduling coordinators and DR providers, within areas including baseline approvals, baseline and performance calculations, performance submittals to the ISO, and stakeholder internal processes. Therefore, the ISO continues to seek stakeholder questions and comments regarding implementation for discussion on these calls.
The updated ESDER Phase 2 Business Requirements Specification is available on the Release Planning webpage at http://www.caiso.com/Documents/BusinessRequirementsSpecification-EnergyStorage_DistributedEnergyResourcesPhase2.pdf. Draft versions of baseline methodology templates are also available for review within the ESDER customer partnership group section on the following webpages:

The recording is for informational and convenience purposes only, and any related transcriptions should not be reprinted without the ISO's permission.
