The California ISO announced in the Oct. 21, 2021 notice that a foundational workshop for the Extended Day-Ahead Market (EDAM) initiative will be held on Nov. 12, 2021. The objective of this workshop is to provide stakeholders: 1) with a foundational overview of the day-ahead market and a further review of the EDAM Common Design Principles and Concepts, 2) the initiative scope and 3) an opportunity to form stakeholder working groups that will be established to develop the policy.
In preparation for this workshop, the ISO is requesting stakeholder questions in advance on the EDAM Common Design Principals and Concepts, which will be discussed further in detail during the workshop. The questions will provide insights on the particular areas of interest regarding the principles and their development, and will further help presenters prepare materials to ensure the key aspects of the principles are discussed. Please submit questions to ISOStakeholderAffairs@caiso.com by Nov. 4, 2021.
