Vice President, Stakeholder Engagement & Customer Experience
Joanne Serina is the Vice President of Stakeholder Engagement & Customer Experience for the California Independent System Operator (ISO). She oversees all aspects of customer service, customer onboarding, readiness and training. She also facilitates quality engagement with stakeholders on market design and policy development.
Ms. Serina has served as Executive Director of Customer Service & Stakeholder Affairs since 2015 and previously held various senior leadership roles since joining the ISO in 2006 including positions within the Operations Division responsible for System Operations training and certification and as a Sr. Program Manager during the implementation of the California ISO Market.
Prior to her career in the energy industry, Joanne spent 12 years in the Information Technology sector developing innovative business solutions for Intel Corporation and managed product development for Pandesic LLC, an Intel subsidiary, delivering e-commerce solutions.
Joanne holds a bachelor’s degree from the Anderson School of Management, University of New Mexico and obtained her NERC certification in 2011.
