Attention Android Users

The ISO Today mobile app from the Google Play store is currently unavailable. We apologize for the inconvenience, and suggest using Today’s Outlook for the most up to date information. Users can also subscribe to Emergency notifications via email. We anticipate an updated app will be available by the end of July.

  • Monitor available resource adequacy capacity to identify when energy supply might be tight, up to 7 days in advance.
  • View grid status and available capacity measured against the current demand and the forecasted peak.
  • Users can receive Flex Alerts to notify them when conservation is needed, get energy system notifications, along with ability to add ISO meetings and events to their calendar.
  • Compare demand and net demand plus historic data.
  • View wholesale energy prices on the price map. Use the slider to easily filter out nodes based on Location Marginal Prices (LMP).
  • Monitor emissions.
  • View breakdown of supply and renewables serving the ISO.
  • View peak and daily production data for past dates on the renewables trend graph.
  • View renewables and supply graphs as stacked charts.

What's new in the latest version

  • On the homepage the Grid status section shows "in effect" and upcoming notifications, previously only "in effect" were visible
  • Received cancelled or ended push notifications for new and current versions of ISO Today
  • Notifications page now shows ended and cancelled notifications, in addition to issued and updated notifications.
  • Notification icon on homepage shows the number of notifications received rather than number of "in effect" events
  • the counter badge on the Notification icon will now clear after viewing the notification page
  • App icon badge no longer shows number of "in effect" events.

  • Minor bug fixes and language changes.

     

Version 4.7 of ISO Today is compatible with iOS13 and Android 7.0 (Nougut) and up for smart phones and tablets. Apple devices with the iOS 12 operating system can still download Version 4.3 from the App Store.
