CAISO IRP 25 MMT Stochastic PLEXOS models with CEC 2023 IEPR Load Forecast
The CAISO developed a stochastic production cost simulation model based on the CPUC 2022-23 IRP Preferred System Portfolio, which was adopted in Decision 24-02-047 on February 15, 2024, and the CEC 2023 IEPR hourly load forecast. The model is set up for 2024 year, and run with PLEXOS v8.3R9. The results of the simulations were presented in the CAISO's 2024 Summer Loads and Resources Assessment report.
