Joint Market Seams Workshop

The California ISO and Southwest Power Pool have scheduled a joint, hybrid Market Seams workshop on September 16, 2026. The meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. MDT (9: a.m. - 2:30 p.m. PDT) on September 16, 2026. This will be the third workshop in a 4-part series on market seams that explores key issues with industry experts and interested parties. 

What topics will be covered?

• The discussion will focus on transactions across market boundaries, including imports and exports. The agenda will begin with a panel of trading experts discussing cross-border transactions, followed by subject matter experts from SPP and CAISO providing an overview of day-one market rules for imports, exports, and wheels.
