2024-2025 Transmission Planning Process: Approved Project Sponsor for the North Receiving Station Substation to San Jose B Substation 230 kV Transmission Line Project

The California ISO selected LS Power Grid California, LLC (LSPGC) as the approved project sponsor to finance, construct, own, operate and maintain the North Receiving Station Substation to San Jose B 230 kV Transmission Line Project. 

The ISO conducted a comparative analysis of five qualified project sponsors and their five applications. The analysis included assessing the degree that each project sponsor met the selection factors under the ISO tariff section 24.5.4 and the qualification criteria under the ISO tariff section 24.5.3.1.

Per the ISO tariff section 24.5.5: Within 10 business days after selecting an Approved Project Sponsor(s) for a needed transmission solution, the ISO will post on the ISO's website a report regarding the selection of the Approved Project Sponsor(s).

The selection report concluding the competitive solicitation process for this project will be posted on the 2024-2025 Transmission Planning Process webpage when available.
