2024-2025 Transmission Planning Process: Approved project sponsor selection report for Manning – Metcalf 500kV Transmission Line Project posted

The California ISO has posted the approved project sponsor selection report for the 2024-2025 Transmission Planning Process Phase 3, Manning – Metcalf 500kV transmission line project, on the 2024-2025 Transmission planning process webpage.

The ISO announced that it selected California Grid Holdings LLC (CalGrid) as the approved project sponsor to finance, construct, own, operate, and maintain the Manning – Metcalf 500kV Transmission Line Project on May 6, 2026.

Per ISO Tariff Section 24.5.5: Within 10 Business Days after selecting an Approved Project Sponsor(s) for a needed transmission solution, the ISO will post on the ISO website a report regarding the selection of the Approved Project Sponsor(s).
