2024-2025 Transmission Planning Process: Competitive Solicitation Key Selection Factors Posted

The California ISO identified two regional transmission solutions that are eligible for competitive solicitation in the Board Approved 2024-2025 Transmission Plan. The ISO has posted its Key Selection Factors - 2024-2025 Transmission Planning Process for each of the transmission solutions recommended pursuant to Section 24.5.1 of the ISO tariff, which are available on its website.

With the ISO Board approval of the Transmission Plan in May 2025, the ISO will initiate the competitive solicitation for the eligible transmission solutions. Descriptions of the transmission solutions recommended are available in Appendix I of the Board Approved 2024-2025 Transmission Plan.
