Planning2024-2025 Transmission Planning Process, Northern Receiving Station – San Jose B 230 kV Project Approved Project Sponsor Selection Report posted
The California ISO has posted the Northern Receiving Station – San Jose B 230 kV Project Approved Project Sponsor Selection Report, on the transmission planning process webpage.
The ISO announced on April 17, 2026, that it selected LS Power Grid California, LLC (LSPGC) as the approved project sponsor to finance, construct, own, operate, and maintain the Northern Receiving Station – San Jose B 230 kV project.
Per ISO Tariff Section 24.5.5: Within 10 Business Days after selecting an Approved Project Sponsor(s) for a needed transmission solution, the ISO will post on the ISO's website a report regarding the selection of the Approved Project Sponsor(s).
The project sponsor selection report concluding the competitive solicitation process for this project is available on the Transmission planning process webpage.
