2024-2025 Transmission Planning Process: Selection of approved Project Sponsor for the NRS – San Jose B 230 kV Transmission Line Project delayed

Pursuant to Section 5.6.2 of the Business Practice Manual for the Transmission Planning Process, the California ISO is delaying selection of an approved project sponsor to finance, construct, own, operate, and maintain the NRS – San Jose B 230 kV Transmission Line Project. This will allow the ISO additional time to conduct its comparative analysis and undertake the necessary due diligence before selecting an approved project sponsor.
