2024 Annual Policy Initiatives Roadmap Process: Draft Policy Initiatives Roadmap posted

The California ISO has published the 2024 Draft Policy Initiatives Roadmap to its website. This spreadsheet is the culmination of the 2024 Policy Catalog and Roadmap process, and describes the planned policy development timeline for existing and new market policy initiatives for 2025-2027. The Draft Roadmap includes three new stakeholder-proposed policy initiatives beginning in Q1 2025: (1) Congestion Revenue Rights, (2) Demand Response, Distributed Energy Resources, Biddable/participating demand, and (3) Storage Design and Modeling. The ISO will publish the Final Roadmap in December 2024, which will include a disposition of all stakeholder submissions to the 2024 policy catalog.

The ISO thanks stakeholders for their robust participation throughout the 2024 Catalog and Roadmap development process and looks forward to beginning the 2025 process with stakeholder policy initiative proposals in January.
