2025 Intra-Cluster Reliability Network Upgrade Prioritization

The California ISO has posted its 2025 Intra-Cluster Reliability Network Upgrade Prioritization, Study Plan and Methodology document, and a list of Interconnection Customer projects with qualifying Reliability Network Upgrades where available capacity to interconnect earlier may exist. 

The Study Plan and Methodology document and the list of Interconnection Customer projects with qualifying Reliability Network Upgrades are available on the Intra-Cluster Reliability Network Upgrade Prioritization webpage.

The interconnection customers holding the eligible projects may submit a request to be studied to determine if an earlier interconnection is possible for their project. The CAISO will email affidavits and instructions to interconnection customers with eligible projects in early July. To be studied, an affidavit must be received by the ISO by 5 p.m. PDT, Aug. 1, 2025, with all required substantiating documentation. There will be no opportunity to cure deficiencies or provide additional information.
