2026 Infrastructure Policy Catalog posted

The California ISO (ISO) has posted the 2026 Infrastructure Policy Catalog to the 2026 Infrastructure Policy Catalog and Roadmap process webpage.  

The 2026 Infrastructure Policy Catalog summarizes eight stakeholder-submitted infrastructure policy initiatives and the relative level of stakeholder support for each proposal. The catalog serves as an input into the development of the 2027-2029 Infrastructure Policy Roadmap, which will establish the ISO's infrastructure policy work plan and priorities over the next three years. The ISO will evaluate each proposed initiative against reliability and policy objectives, assess implementation feasibility, and consider available resources and competing priorities. Responses to all stakeholder submissions will be incorporated into the forthcoming Infrastructure Policy Roadmap.

The ISO will begin infrastructure roadmap development in July 2026, publish a draft 2027-2029 Infrastructure Policy Roadmap for stakeholder review, and comment in Oct. 2026, and release a final roadmap in Dec. 2026.
