2027 Import Capability Assignment Process Step 1

The California ISO has posted the ISO Maximum Resource Adequacy Import Capability for Year 2027 document as a first step to the 2027 import capability assignment process to the Resource adequacy webpage.

For resource adequacy purposes, the ISO will assign total available import capacity on an annual basis for a one-year term to load serving entities serving load in the ISO balancing authority area and to other market participants through their respective scheduling coordinators.

Per the ISO Tariff Section 40.4.6.2.1, the import capability assignment is a multi-step process. In accordance with step one of this process, the ISO has posted the ISO Maximum Resource Adequacy Import Capability for Year 2027 to its website.
