The California ISO’s Import Allocation Automation process implementation via the Customer Interface for Resource Adequacy (CIRA) application is now active for the year ahead 2025 submission requests and onwards. The actual submission window for steps 8-13 will follow the Reliability Requirements timeline. We will send a notice to inform market participants when the submission window is open as part of our standard process.
Training for the new automation process was conducted on May 2, 2024. The presentation and video recording can be found on the ISO's Training center, under Releases, initiatives, and readiness notes.
